The concept

From analog to digital

Photogrammetry combines photography and computing to reconstruct the exact position of implants from 2D images: a 3D model of unmatched precision.

  • Full-arch implant cases (All-On-X)
  • Micron-level implant positioning
  • No casts, no distortion
What photogrammetry is

Digital data capture

Everything is captured digitally before surgery. We assemble a complete "digital patient", ready for planning.

  • Digital impressions U/L + occlusion
  • Smile photos and/or 3D FaceScan
  • CBCT scan (3D X-ray of the bone)
  • 360° digital impression of the existing prosthesis
Edentulous case: 7 SUREMARK markers + 360° scan
Planning

Prosthetic & surgical planning

We design the smile and plan the surgery on screen. The approved set-up is superimposed on the CBCT to position every implant.

  • Prosthetic set-up validated by the dentist
  • Superimpose set-up ↔ CBCT bone scan
  • Planning and design on exocad and coDiagnostiX
  • Surgical guide designed, tested on a model

Photogrammetry in action

The climax of the workflow. Instead of impressions, markers are screwed onto the abutment heads and scanned to capture their exact mathematical position.

  • Photogrammetry impression
  • Digital impression of the tissues with the photogrammetry markers
  • CBCT scan
  • Delivery of the temporary bridge
  • MicronMapper dominos · Polo scanbody · ICAM
  • MicronMapper / iCAM cameras + DEXIS IS 3700
  • Fitcheck: passivity verified to the micron

Same day

Immediate temporization

The patient leaves with new teeth the same day. The temporary bridge is designed and 3D-printed in-house.

  • Instant design from the captured data
  • 3D printing: SprintRay Pro 2 · OnX Tough 2 resin
  • "Mushroom" healing abutments for easier seating
  • Staining of the temporary bridge

The final restoration

After healing, the definitive bridge. Final impressions of the healed tissue, then a highly aesthetic zirconia bridge.

  • Final impressions
  • Final restoration with chosen materials: Zirconia or Titanium
Before / after: the definitive result
